Betsson acquires Nordicbet, Triobet & Tobet
Betsson AB (publ) today announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire substantial parts of the business of Nordic Gaming Group plc, which is the owner of the NordicBet, TrioBet and Tobet gaming operations. Once the transaction is approved by competent regulatory bodies, the acquisition will be finalized in the end of second quarter 2012.
Betsson acquired Betsafe
We would like to confirm, that rumors regarding acquisition of Betsafe by Betsson has now become official. Like few years ago PartyBets took over Gamebookers, similarly today we face same scheme. Although Betsson will work as a supreme mark, Betsafe will still keep its own strategy, website, affiliate program and policy. Making long story short – for us – players there is no significant change, however we should be aware that some information can be virtually transferred between Betsafe and Betsson databases.
